Last week a friend of mine posted this up at her status on Facebook. It was clearly a chain letter message that was being passed around.

I keep hearing about all these business coaches that are giving advice about starting a business. New Entrepreneurs are thinking about how they want to put themselves out there. They are coming up with Mission Statements, long business plans, and even unique wording about themselves and what they do to make it seem to themselves that people will be forced to buy from them because there are no alternatives. 

I wrote this as my facebook status:

Practice random acts of kindness, especially towards strangers. Strangers are the salvation in this world, either for them or within ourselves. I've been saved by strangers and I've been the stranger that saved. Be the stranger.

This whole notion of helping strangers is in many ways the foundation of business. We are out there to share our vision with the world, granted. However, I believe that very few of us are out there to "take others" or "rip them off". We are Entrepreneurs because we want to give something of ourselves, our ideas to helping others.
